Dr. Jaseel Edakkandathil (born 01 October 1987) is an Indian politician and social worker, who served as a member of the state treasurer, state legal cell convenor, and state public relation officer of the institution of Homoeopaths Kerala. He serves as the Doctor Coordinator of the District Panchayat, and he is also a member of AYUSH Malappuram.

Biography

Dr. Jaseel Edakkandathil is an Indian politician and social worker, who served as a member of the state treasurer, state legal cell convenor, and state public relation officer of the institution of Homoeopaths Kerala. He graduated BHMS from Dr. Padiar memorial homeopathic medical college Ernakulam. he has been practicing at his private clinic at Kottakkal and Puthanathani. He serves as the Doctor Coordinator of the District Panchayat, and he is also a member of AYUSH Malappuram. He is also a member of safe campus clean campus; the main objective of the program was to wean the students away from the use of drugs through awareness creation.

Political and Social Career

Dr Jaseel Edakkandathil’s political career has been started at a student organization through KSU while his college education. He was the first unit president of KSU at Dr.Padiar Memorial Homoeopathic medical college, chottanikkara. under his leadership, KSU was able to defeat sfi which has been ruled for 40 years. a later very active worker at KSU Helped KSU in other Homoeopathic colleges. contested the KSU state election. He took nearly 1000 classes outside and inside India. At the time of covid, he serviced for poor and needy, supplied food kits, and medicinal kits, and with his team gave emotional and health support to suffering persons. when air traveling started, he gave 120 flight tickets to migrates who are very needy. selected 120 persons from more than 2000 requests. it’s a statewide program. tickets are given for persons who stay in 6 emirates. UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman… Along with 50 Doctors who made the team Dr. Jaseel’s covid help gave continued online medical support for more than 3000 covid persons who are staying abroad.

When online classes started the Smart student challenge gave tablets, smartphones, and tv, and arranged facilities for more than 600 students. given PPE kits and fogging machines for covid centers, and social workers. attended farmer’s protest at the Singhu border and given medicines worth 2.5 lacks to the IYC camp serviced there at medical camp and food stall.

Awards and Honors

School of Artistic Homoeopathy selected him for the ‘Best Junior Doctor Award’ 2019 for the flood activities in Nilambur and Wayanad 2019 for leading the rescue, rehabilitation, and rebuilding team, he took nearly 1000 classes outside and inside India
