Modsy was an e-design company founded in 2015 by Google veteran Shanna Tellerman. The platform was among the first wave of e-design startups that allowed consumers to purchase inexpensive design packages over the Internet. Over its history, Modsy raised more than $70 million from venture capitalists and partnered with homebuilding company Lennar. In 2022, Tellerman announced that, due to a failed acquisition bid, Modsy would be shutting down its design services and relaunching as a professional services business.
