Amaechi Muonagor is a Nigerian actor and producer who was nominated for AMVCA 2017 Best Actor In a Comedy in 2016. He is popularly called Mr. Ibu for his great contribution to the Nollywood industry. He is recently grappling with paralysis, which has affected half of his left leg.

Before Fame

He started working for NAN (News Agency of Nigeria). He left his job a few years later for an acting role in his first movie Akunatakasi in Taboo 1, a Nigerian movie.

Family Life

Amaechi Muonagor was born on August 20, 1962, in Obosi, Idemili North Anambra State, Nigeria. He attended St. Mary’s Primary School, Obosi, Oraifite Grammar School before he furthered his education at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). He has four children.
