Wayne Ayers (born August 13, 1996), is an American entrepreneur and columnist. He is the founder of Where Is The Buzz. Ayers was named to Forbes Next 1000. list in 2021.

Career

In 2018, Ayers founded his online news website, Where Is The Buzz. It was launched on January 1, 2018, as an online media company that began as an Instagram page. As of 2022, the company has over 200,000 followers on various social media platforms. It was the first news outlet to announce The Proud Family‘s return to Disney+, Halle Berry praising black reporters on the red carpet, and Lisa Kudrow’s expressing a desire for a “Friends” reboot. The company has been acknowledged by Forbes, HuffPost, and Black Enterprise.

Ayers started The Wayne Ayers Podcast in 2019. The podcast was created to highlight and promote individuals in the entertainment, activism, politics, health, and entrepreneurial space. Some of his most notable interviews are with Coco Jones, Kennedy McMann, and Camille Hyde. Brec Bassinger appeared on the podcast to speak on the cancelation of the CW series Stargirl. In 2022, Ayers became a columnist for Inc. Magazine.

Early life and education

Wayne Ayers was born in Bremerton, Washington, in 1996, the son of U.S., Navy veterans Andrea Lucy Norman and Wayne Ayers Sr. He graduated from Bremerton High School in 2014. After high school graduation, he moved to Los Angeles at the age of 17 and studied business at East Los Angeles College.

Personal life

Ayers is Trinidadian and American; he was homeless throughout middle school and high school due to his mother being ill. He credits basketball and his community for saving his life.
