Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan returned to the top 10 of the ICC ODI bowling rankings as he leapt three places to 10th.

The team didn’t do well. They lost the series to Afghanistan. But Shakib Al Hasan has given his performance as usual and returned to the top 10 in the ICC ODI bowlers’ rankings after taking four wickets in the series.

Shakib has moved up three places to number 10. He is the only Bangladeshi bowler in the top 10. Mustafizur Rahman is now at number 22, two places behind. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is ranked 29th, one place behind.

Taskin Ahmed has moved up five places with three wickets in two matches. He is now no 45. Taijul, who took two wickets in the last match, has moved up nine places to 56.

Shariful Islam, who took four wickets in the last ODI of the series, is still outside the top 100. However, he is ranked a career-best 104th.

Liton Das has improved in the batting rankings. Liton, who scored 92 runs in three matches, has moved up three places to 38th position.

Afghan players, however, have made a big jump in the latest rankings. Rashid Khan, who has taken four wickets in two matches, has moved up three places to fourth in the bowler rankings. Fazalhaq Farooqi, who was the man of the series with eight wickets, has moved up 58 places to 33rd position.

Two Afghan openers have scored centuries in the series. Ibrahim Zadran has moved up 11 places to 16th in the rankings. Rahmanullah Gurbaz has moved up 45 places to 45th position.
